Privacy notice for the Market Cue prototype. Effective September 3, 2026.
No-account research saves
The public dashboard stores saved tickers and alert drafts in our database. A random, secure, HTTP-only browser cookie identifies your guest workspace; the database stores a hash of that key, not the key itself. No email or phone number is required. Guest drafts are not messaging subscriptions and cannot send texts or emails.
The cookie lasts up to one year and is renewed when you save. Guest workspaces are specific to the website domain; saves on the original beta URL do not automatically appear on getmarketcue.com. Your saves reopen in the same browser, not automatically on other devices. Anyone using that browser profile can access them. Clearing cookies removes access; it does not automatically delete the stored records. Remove saved stocks and alert drafts in the dashboard before clearing browser data if you want to remove their contents.
Optional existing accounts
We store your site-specific login identifier, login name and email, chosen delivery email, verified phone number, consent records, alert rules, time zone, quiet hours, delivery attempts, and support requests. Temporary verification challenges and abuse-prevention counters help protect the service. We do not collect your ChatGPT password or brokerage credentials.
Why we use it
Your details are used to sign you in, save and manage your rules, verify delivery channels, send messages you request, honor opt-outs, diagnose delivery problems, and respond to support. Phone numbers and SMS consent are not sold or shared for third-party marketing.
Service providers
Sites hosts this application and its database. When connected, Twilio processes phone verification and SMS, Resend processes email, and Upstash QStash schedules background checks. News sources provide the requested ticker headlines. They receive information needed for their role; we do not send your contact details to the news feed or scheduler.
Public pages may load fonts from Google Fonts. Opening an original article takes you to its publisher, which has its own privacy practices. This prototype does not include advertising trackers.
Your controls
You can edit, pause, or delete ticker rules in My alerts. Change delivery preferences or revoke consent in Delivery & account. Reply STOP to the sending number to stop SMS, or use the unsubscribe link in an email. Unsubscribing from one channel does not automatically unsubscribe the other.
Request account deletion, a copy of stored account data, or other privacy help at support@getmarketcue.com or using the support form. The owner reviews requests manually and may verify account ownership. Deleting a rule does not automatically erase delivery and consent records.
Retention and beta limitations
Records are retained while needed to operate the beta, maintain opt-out and consent history, address support, or meet applicable obligations. This prototype does not yet have an automatic retention schedule. The owner must establish production retention and business-contact details before commercial launch.
